What is a good bank to open a new checking / savings account?
I have recently become very satisfied with the Bank of America and their positions Overdraft ridiculous. Its ATMs do not show your most up to date balance and the way to go and discovered $ 3 and they end up being negative $ 80 a week later because you never noticed. So I was wondering what the banks or the banks are the best, especially for 24yr old like me, which still could be considered to students and low income living in the moment.
All banks make their money somehow. If not with overdraft fees as probably pay for it somewhere else, possibly without realizing it. Most major banks will have structures very similar rates, but the disadvantage of a small bank is the lack of online banking developed or an ATM network of large size (which means more charge you.) The short of it is, try to make better track of their funds in a register or control balances online. As frustration with Bank of America does not show your transactions, so you know, everyone Banks will show the operations that the trader has reported them, but there is always "traps" as they say when a restaurant is your debit card and positions of the transaction, but not until a day or two after you see the tip that was added in. There are many things like that are not blame banks, but each time you get and can cost you big. Learn to $ 50 as a buffer in case of incidents like that and you'll be fine. Despite their low income, $ 50 should be easier to maintain in the account instead of worrying about $ 80 overdraft fees!
