Committed identity … Now What?

Our bank has lost all our papers to refinance our home. For documents which I mean: 2008 tax w / SS # s, pay stubs, savings and investment account # s, and dollar amounts. I delivered papers to a bank employee 3 weeks and can not find it. We have alerted the senior and regional manager of the bank and are struggling to find it but so far, nothing. What legal action we can take against the bank?

At this point, nothing. It is hoped that just lost in someone's desk. If you can show that a) are misplaced or mishandling of their information private and secure and b) that its mishandling of information will cost you something (like someone hacked into one of those accounts or use your social security number social or something to commit a crime or steal your identity), then you have a case. Certainly, you can not come close to it the test now.
