Benefits / negatives of being a doctor or a lawyer?

Currently I am premed student and was looking online at blogs, and their physicians are not recommending that becoming a doctor! They really do not get paid very well, for the hours they have to do and save decsions everyday life. Lawyers seem very earn good money, not as Streed and not have to put with the U.S. health system twisted Medicare /! I'm at a crossroads

When choosing between the two professional fields you mentioned, the field of law is the worst. Why? No work in this professional field. Choosing a career is one of the most important decisions of life. The legal profession is changing dramatically and is in crisis! Each year, more and more people graduate from law school, but there are fewer and fewer jobs. Even the largest and most reputable law firms are experiencing unprecedented cuts. I do not expect the situation will improve in the coming years ….. Be aware of what you offer on getting yourself into. Please do more research first. Reminder: We are in a global recession. Consider career paths are available .<<<<< Warning Working> Working in the field of Law are drying up quickly! That's not a good field to invest time and / or money. This is a contraction, in ruins, and to die professionally. For many reasons. Now we have computers. Thus, many people today (mistakenly) think they can do their own legal work thanks to the Internet. Also, there are a lot of companies out there making software very efficient for the legal field of law. graduate lawyers today tend to be very smart team, so just do the work themselves to save the cost of overheads. In addition, the "public" legal purchase of this software in order to get a legal work done without the cost of a lawyer. Also, just because they have no way Professional legal too – we have an absolute excess! ("Legal practitioners" includes, but not limited to: Attorneys / Lawyers, Paralegals, Legal Assistants, Legal secretaries, bailiffs, stenographers, etc, etc) as legalzoom.com sites have led to minor work many lawyers / attorneys would do. The field Law has a mystique that actually exceeds reality. The field of law is an overrated career – mostly on television. There are many myths regarding the scope of the Act: to work as a lawyer is mentally challenging (Actually, most of the work as a lawyer involves routine paperwork: research, cite checking, drafting of documents and document review. Lawyers need to record and track every activity they do, all [of June 1 to 15 minutes increments, as el] billing system – a laborious but necessary task), being a lawyer is exciting, powerful, and glamorous (Remember: television is fiction – Fictional lawyers on TV are actors – most of the work that a lawyer does not happen in a courtroom), law students, because I think they are good to discuss will become great lawyers (actually being a great lawyer is the ability to mediate between the different parties and bring them to an agreement), as someone who can correct the injustices (In fact, court decisions relate more to reach compromises that about right vs. wrong), guaranteed financial success (Actually, when comparing salaries, you must also account for cost of living expenses [the majority of large law firms are located in big cities - The largest in the city, plus the cost of living expenses will be] the payment of debts incurred when attending law school, and the time required to build customer base. Many large law firms require lawyers to work 60-80 hours per week) .. The cost of law school to be a lawyer, about $ 150,000 +. Be prepared to take a lot of debt, should become a lawyer is your ultimate goal .<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< No work in this professional field. My family, coworkers, friends, communications, exchanges, etc. have been laid off left and right in this professional field. Employers (usually law firms) in the field of law today want workers with degrees from traditional colleges and universities. The "certified" you'll find not worth the paper they're printed on – are usually scams. (I found this out the hard way.) Also, law school program needs to be accredited by the American Bar Association – if not, you're wasting your time or money. Even if you finish law school, no able to find a job when finished. From this career field is shrinking, many new lawyers are lawyers, themselves, have to work "toward down ", as paralegals, legal assistants, Legal Secretaries, bailiffs, stenographers, etc, etc, to try just to keep some of their Paid Accounts <

Now... the law schools lo saben, pero no le dirĂ¡ la> verdad que el mercado de trabajo / Economy is saturated so more legal professionals. Instead schools will feed a fairy tale and lie to you. The root of the problem is that we law schools more. We are in a recession, and schools are fighting for their own survival - you say anything to students to reach students money. (Which is why you will not tell the truth about the labor market for the scope of the Act). And these schools continue to recruit and churn out graduates more ............. Remember, law schools are businesses - their main concern is to make money for themselves. >>>>> You Especially beware of the fake, the inflated wage law school / stats determined work !!!***** If law schools do not believe me, then just do a search here in Yahoo Answers to see what other posters about the current state of the field of law. Call some local law firms - ask for the Human Resources Manager - Ask if they are hiring, what they think of job availability in the field of law ............... ... In the book "So You Want to be a lawyer? "by Marianne Susanne Calabrese and Calabrese (ISBN 0-88391-136-1):" The United States has more lawyers than any other country in the world. About 38,000 students graduate> each <year from the 200 + law schools in the United States. The competition is fierce for jobs and customers. "- Even Justice Antonin Scalia (who served on the Us Supreme Court for over 20 years) said that there are too many lawyers. If you want a job when you are finished with their studies, taking into account and look in the fields of:>>> Health Information Technology, LAW ENFORCEMENT, environmentalism, emergency planning, accounting, education, entertainment, utilities, home repairs, car-commercial-industrial, service industries, clergy, and / or debt collection! I talked to a counselor on Employment and Family Services, and he said that these areas are where the jobs are, and future employment opportunities / availability! and scholarships! Good luck.
